Dr. Joshua Holt

Josh was raised in Salt Lake City, Utah. He attended The University of Utah for his undergraduate studies before graduating with honors from Temple University School of Dentistry in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. While at Temple, Josh was the president of the Haiti Dental Mission Club and personally provided much needed dental care to the most remote reaches of Haiti. He also served in many underserved clinics in and around Philadelphia during his time in school. Josh is committed to practicing evidence-based dentistry and strives to be up to date on the newest advances in dental medicine. Josh is a current member of the American Dental Association®.

Along with his wife, Laura, and daughter, Josh moved back west after dental school. Both Josh and Laura speak Spanish fluently and take pride in serving those of the Latino community whenever possible. Josh is an avid fly fisherman, and while not in the office or learning about new dental techniques, you can find him waist deep on the Gallatin or the Madison.

Meet Our Team

Michell Krueger – Registered Dental Hygienist

I have been with Rubicon for four years. I spent two years at the Red Lodge office and two years at Big Timber. I have been practicing dental hygiene since 2010 when I graduated from Sheridan Dental Hygiene program.

I enjoy ranching with my husband and family and am excited to bring up my two sons in agriculture – Montana is the best place to be for so many reasons and Big Timber is the perfect fit for me. I enjoy down-to-earth people and can relate well to the residents of Sweet Grass County.

The best part about my job is the role of patient advocate. I don’t just clean teeth and take radiographs. I talk to people, get to know them and their likes and dislikes as well as any dental fears, and help them obtain the best care/options pertaining to their oral health. Many people struggle with dental anxiety and I truly enjoy helping folks get the care they need while keeping them as comfortable as possible. I pride myself on doing my job well and I will not lecture someone for not going to the dentist for several years; I am happy to see all patients of all backgrounds and all ages.

When I am not at work, I love being a mom, ranch wife, hay hauler/gate opener (ranching joke), hunter, and gatherer of all things that grow in the dirt. I am absolutely blessed in my life and look forward to whatever lies on the horizon.
